Encryption Keys and Carbonite Features for Carbonite Safe

Carbonite gives you the option to manage your own encryption key when you first install the program on your computer. If you choose to do so, you won't be able to use Carbonite's Anytime Anywhere Access feature to access your files remotely or use the Courier Recovery service. Hyper-V backups support full backups on Windows Server 2008 and higher. Incremental backups are supported on Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher. Differential backups are not supported on any platform. CSSB is able to take snapshots of files located on network shares configured with the SMB3 protocol.

Internet Service Providers with Bandwidth Restrictions
