Message: "Alert: Carbonite has been unable to send your customer support request for the past 24 hours..."

Summary:

When attempting to install Carbonite, the following popup appears:

"Alert: Carbonite has been unable to send your customer support request for the past 24 hours.

Click "Retry" to try again, or click "Cancel and email your request to customer support winsupport@carbonite.com."

Carbonite Plans Products Platforms
Basic, Plus, Prime, Core, Power, and Ultimate (Not sure?) Safe and Safe Pro (Not sure?) Windows

Workaround:

  1. Click Retry to try the installation process again.
  2. If prompted, you may also need to exit Recover Mode to resume the backup.

Solution:

We are actively investigating this issue and recommend using the workaround or closing the popup until it has been resolved.
