Backup Size Increased or Doubled for Carbonite Safe Backup Pro

Your backup size may increase if you select folders for backup that contain large files or apply backup policies. This will cause Carbonite to back up files that were not previously selected.

If you recently upgraded and you included Carbonite’s default file types in your backup, music and video files will be added to your original backup. Depending on the number of files that are added, this may increase the size of your backup significantly.

You can add more backup storage to keep the files in your backup or remove unwanted files from your backup to reduce the storage amount.
