Deactivating Automatic Renewal for Carbonite Safe

You can cancel each of your Carbonite Safe Basic, Plus or Prime subscriptions to prevent future renewals from your Carbonite account.

Sign in to your Carbonite account at https://account.carbonite.com/Account/Summary or with the button below.

Turn Off Auto-Renew

After you sign in, click Turn auto-renew off and confirm it within the pop-up window.

You cannot remove the default credit card on file during an active subscription. However, it will automatically be removed 30 days after the account expires.

After you deactivate a Carbonite Safe subscription for one of your computers, you can continue to use existing features until the expiration date. After 30 days of expiration, Carbonite will permanently remove your backed up data and Carbonite will no longer function on your computer.

If you change your mind, click Turn auto-renew on for each subscription and Carbonite will automatically renew the subscriptions on the expiration date with the default credit card.
