Applying Available Subscription for Carbonite Safe

Carbonite Safe subscriptions that are purchased are available to download and install from your Carbonite account dashboard.
- Available subscriptions can only be installed on a Windows or Mac computer that does not already have a subscription installed.
To install an available subscription, sign into your Carbonite account from the target computer at https://account.carbonite.com or with the button below and click Install Carbonite.
If you received an activation code, you can follow the guide below to apply the activation code to an expired computer or to a new computer.

You can apply a valid activation code to a free trial or expired computer.
To apply an available subscription, sign into your Carbonite account at https://account.carbonite.com or with the button below.
Next, click Subscription Information. Then, select Apply activation code within the Subscription Information page.
On the Activate Your Subscription page, you will be asked how to apply the activation code.
To apply your available subscription to a free trial or expired computer, select the radio button for the available subscription under Select the activation code to apply, then select Apply it to an existing computer with the same Carbonite plan and select the appropriate computer from the drop-down menu. Lastly, click the Apply button to proceed with the activation.
Once the activation code has been successfully applied, you will receive a notification message within your account indicating your new expiration date.
You can apply a valid activation code to a new computer.
To apply an available subscription, sign into your Carbonite account at https://account.carbonite.com/ or with the button below.
The computers associated with your account will be displayed. If you purchased an activation code without applying it, a computer may be listed here as not installed.
Click Subscription Information. Then, select Apply activation code within the Subscription Information page.
On the Activate Your Subscription page, you will be asked how to apply the activation code.
To install Carbonite on your computer using an available activation code, select the radio button for the available subscription under Select the activation code to apply, then select Apply this activation code and install carbonite on this computer. Lastly, click the Apply button to proceed with the activation.
You will be directed to a Carbonite installation page. Click Download now to proceed with the installation.
