Changing a User's Permissions

Carbonite Safe Pro lets you change the permissions of Users and Administrators under your account. If you need to change a user into an Administrator or vice versa, it can be done quickly and easily through your Account Dashboard.

Sign in to your account as an Administrator at https://account.carbonite.com.

Sign In

Select a User from the list provided in the Dashboard.

Select a user from the list

Click Edit next to the username to adjust their contact information.

Edit the user

Within the User's contact information, select Administrator from the drop-down menu and click Save.

save your changes

You can also change an Administrator into a User by performing the same steps on an Administrator and selecting User from the drop-down menu.
