Backing Up Files in Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive with Carbonite
- This article is for Mac - View the Windows article
Carbonite can backup files that are locally synced on your computer like Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive. By default, Carbonite selects these folders for automatic backup, but you can manually check the locations within the Carbonite interface to select them for backup if you manually manage your backup.
| Mac Application | Data Location |
|---|---|
| Dropbox | Macintosh HD/Users/[User Name]/Dropbox |
| OneDrive | Macintosh HD/Users/[User Name]/OneDrive |
| Google Drive | Macintosh HD/Users/[User Name]/Google Drive |
Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive need to be installed and synced with your computer for the files to be accessible by Carbonite.
After you find the data for your applicable application, you can select it for backup like any other file.
